What happens when execution becomes easy?

For the longest time, I used to see quotes like:
Ideas are cheap, execution is everything
I believed this to be true for so long. At least not until Generative AI came into the picture. Before I could have thousands of ideas, I always had one. I even thought about creating a cool platform where people who did not have the zeal or resources to execute their ideas could share them with people who were passionate about building in exchange for some sort of payment. (Feel free to steal this !)
What changed?
I’ll tell you…
Have you seen how easy it has become to execute your ideas now? Before you knew what problem you wanted to solve and maybe who you were solving the problem for, but no idea how you would take your idea into the hands of your users. You would need to talk to various decision makers, spend lots of money on the dev and design team to have an MVP, especially if it is a digital product. This can be limiting for someone with few resources (funding, limited by location, networks, and human capital).

Now, the contrast between this era and today is like night and day. People now have easy access to the “how.”
Last year, I started sharing my experiences about building a non-linear career. I interviewed brilliant people, and in the middle of it all, got an idea to make this into a community. A community where people like me had access to resources, frameworks, a career quiz, and a guide to help them navigate the chaos with clarity and confidence. I started working on the first draft of the workbook on Google Docs, but then I knew I needed a website to put everything together. Now, I knew HTML and CSS, but I never touched JavaScript because everyone said it was so hard; thankfully, I had been behind the scenes of building several startup products in logistics and tech. I kinda knew how everything worked. I got to work, and the rest is history.
Guess who now has a full working website in JavaScript? C’est moi! I am sure a lot of people can relate to this as well.
So, back to our question…
What happens when execution becomes easy?
The answer?
When execution becomes easy, consistency will become the biggest differentiator.
,
Well, the above and also the human connection. You can execute fast, but can you stay at it for a longgggg time? Will you lose energy executing multiple ideas at the same time or just focus on one? Will you become so obsessed with your idea and executing quickly that you forget to ask if people actually need this?
Now, back to you, what do you think will be the biggest differentiator when execution becomes easy? I would love to hear your thoughts on this.
Btw, I am building the non-linear career community for career pivoters, multi-passionate people, and people with unconventional paths. Learn how you can turn your multiple interests into a powerhouse.
You can start here.
See you when I get the burst of energy to write again.
